Looking for info on the the BRYANT family that was in Union County, IL for the 1850 Census. Listed were Nancy BRYANT (b. @ 1795 SC) and her children Joseph, b. 1829; Mary Ann, b. 1832; Lewis, b. 1834; Emaline, b. 1835; Catherine, b. 1839, and my gg grandfather George Washington BRYANT, b. 8 Sept 1840 and d. 15 Sept 1908 in Stoddard County, MO. All of Nancy's children were born in Georgia. They are living next door to Sophia TRAXLER, possibly Nancy's sister, b. 1790 in SC. Nancy's daughter Mary Ann married Theophilus TURNER in Union County, IL in 1853. In 1860, they were living in Williamson County, IL. I have no knowledge of the whereabouts of any of the other children (excluding my gg grandfather) after 1850. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Doug Powers
