HI BOB,sorry it took so long to get back to you.I've been researching so many names that I misplaced my Carr file(that's MY name!)As I believe I've said,ISAAC CARR(b.1814d.11/20/1850)is as far back as we can trace the line.He & the others in his plot were originally buried in the Odd Fellows Cemetary,23rd & Diamond Sts.Phila.In the 1950's they were moved to Lawnview Cemetary, just outside Philly,in Huntington Valley,PA. I haven't found a Bridget or a Matthew Carr but I have a few names of some people that were buried with Isaac. We aren't sure who these people are. W.HENRY CARR,born 1845,buried 4/17/1850(probably Issac's son) FRANCIS CARR,born 1839,buried 8/21/1859(probably another of Isaac's sons) LEONORA CARR,born 1774,died 4/26/1855(she could have been Isaac's mother or grandmother) SARAH L. SMITH,born 1835,buried 7/8/1904.Her last residence was 15 N. Farson St.Phila.(she could have been born a Carr & married a Smith) MAGGIE CARR,born 1869,buried 10/2/1918.Her last residence was 5334 Hedge St.Phila.(she could have been an unmarried blood relative of Isaac or had married into the Carr family) Any of these names familar? Isaac's son,Joseph Edward Carr,my GGGrandfather, served in the Civil War.Isaac's wife,LOUISA M.(SNYDER)CARR,is buried in North Cedar Hill Cemetary,Phila. Wonder if we've made any connections?GOOD LUCK with your search,Bob & THANKS for answering!
