While Drema and the others are not "wrong", they continue to abet those who refuse to use meaningful Subject lines. What you do not take into consideration is that not all of us receive a few dozen email messages a day. I, and many others, subscribe to many mailing lists and the daily totals can number in the hundreds (I'm talking about 400-800 emails a day). So let's PLEASE stop this support for those who refuse to use meaningful subject lines. YOU may not mind that you have to open and scan each message, regardless of the Subject, but there are literally thousands, if not ten's of thousands of us who DO mind. Instead of supporting those who are to lazy to type in something in the Subject line that makes sense to the rest of us, how about just not making any comments at all if you can't support the Listowner? He has repeatedly asked all of you to put something in the Subject to guide the rest of us; AND, there are even "tags" at the bottom of messages, instruction users about Subject lines. I was Listowner of this List for almost two years; I started it! It is now run by Ron and I have decided that if I were he, I would reconfigure the List so that no message would get posted unless it conformed to the standards that he has set. So those of you who keep sending your posts about having no problems with Subject lines are only perpetuating the problem and abetting those who do not wish to conform.
