I wonder if there is anyone researching these names that could help me clear up a mystery..... I have been looking for any reference to KINGSBURY in Ontario for some time now. My connection is Chamberlain Joseph KINGSBURY born c1804 who came to Prince Edward Co, Ont from Vermont with wife Eliza COOK and small daughter Mary Eliza born 1848 in Vermont. Other children were born in Ontario. Today in Russ Waller's "L&A Co. Loyalist Families" I found a Mary Jane KINGSBURY born 1867 d/o Chamberlain married to George PRINGLE s/o Cornelius PRINGLE b1824 and Mary Jane HEARNS, grs/o David PRINGLE, ggrs/o Joseph PRINGLE UE and Mary Springsteen of Richmond Twp, Ont. I had this family already in my computer, but the reference I have from the Northumberland Loyalist Links is George PRINGLE married Mary Jane YARNS. It is possible Mary Jane was married to a YARNS before she married George PRINGLE. What are the chances of there being two Chamberlain KINGSBURY's in Ontario in the 1860's???
