I post once again, but now with more connected surnames than I know what to do with! I have just gathered much info from church record extracts, donated by Karen Rowe and FEEFHS, and can now go back two generations more. If anyone has these surnames in the Dupage/Cook Co. area, I would love to hear from you. I believe even now I have many "cousins" in these areas, and would appreciate a note if you see any connection with my German Lutheran ancestors. I got info on these names from the St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Roselle. The sister church, St. Peter Lutheran Congregation in Schaumburg may also have more records on my ancestors, but I have not yet investigated this. Other connected surnames may include APPELT, HINZE, LEITZ, BAHR, HEINEMAN, DIBBLE, POLZIN, REIDEL, BRAUER,WEISS, and BERNHARDT. Yes. All these names. My family tree branches are growing ever-longer.
