My ancestor's name is Deyo DAVIS, who was supposedly from Ulster County. His daughter, Emma Jane, was born in Rosendale in 1850. I have a census of 1855 for Ulster County, and I don't see a Deyo Davis anywhere. Emma Jane lived most of her life in Ulster County, and died in Kingston. She was married to Melville Stewart. Deyo Davis was married to Sarah Dudley. Any help on this family will be appreciated. mal316@ix.netcom.com
