Does anyone out there have info that may pertain to my PRATTS? I have posted like crazy, been to the Enoch PRATT Free Library in Baltimore, done a bit of research in Sharon, PA, and find nothing new. I take that back, I did find a 1860 MD census record of James Pratt and Ann Pratt and family. It confirmed a few things, and added new mystery. The handwriting is difficult but a woman named Margaret Ford (?) aged 70 was living in the house. It may be a clue to Ann's maiden name. Any help would be greatly appreciated! My great-grandfather was Thomas Vincent PRATT, born September 10, 1893. Other siblings were; James, Mary Regina, William Peter, Joseph, Edward, Eugine, and Aloysius. Their parents were James E. PRATT born (probably) in Mt Savage, Maryland in 1859, and Bridget PHILLIPS? born 1861 in Maryland. They were married in 1882. James died in 1928 and Bridget in 1916. James E. PRATT's parents were James and Ann Pratt. James was born in England and Ann in Ireland Bridget PHILLIPS parents were Peter PHILLIPS and Christina WOOD or WOODS, both born in Scotland.
