Hi everyone, I need some information regarding the Benicia Arsenal that operated in California from 1851-1964. The civilian employee was my aunt Lela May (CAMPBELL) SCOTTI, who had changed her name to Dolores Lela. (My aunt's husband was Charles "Eddie SCOTTI.) She lived in Concord, CA and was killed in an auto/pedestrian accident, just a few steps from her home, as she was on her way to work at the Benicia Arsenal. I need to see if employment records for my aunt are available and where I can write for them. I was given the following as a possible contact: Mr. Paul Dempsey, Office of Economic Adjustment, Office of the Assistant Sec. of Defense Force, Management and Personnel, The Pentagon, Washington, D.C. But, my letter came back insufficient address, and or addressee unknown, and it wasn't even opened.
