To those special people for whom rules never seem to apply: Please enjoy yourself as you drive your car on the opposite side of the road. And, though everyone else stops for the RED traffic light, you may, please, feel free to be the exception and consider the light change from GREEN to RED to mean GO! Rules are established to allow the most people to receive the most advantage from a common resource. In this case it's not only the inapplicable information and wasted bandwidth on the internet that is undesireable, but there is a major storage problem, too. Every message, no matter how pertinent or useless is stored in archives for ALL to research later. This storage costs money to maintain and/or to edit for content. If the information is not of value to the list the storage space and time to search the old messages is wasted. So, the result is that you consume resources (the time of others) with your egocentric selfishness that could be MUCH MORE effectively used by those who are truly interested in genelogical research-YOURS included. This is only my 3rd posting to this list since I joined months ago, and even though my own research has not made much headway here, I still enjoy the questions and comments relating to the list's common purpose. Those of you who complain about having to follow rules would probably feel free to gallop your horse through my vegetable garden, too. Well, perhaps, I might feel just as free to fire a shotgun at you as you do so. If it is so difficult for you to have consideration for the needs and courtesies of others please feel free to drop off the list and permit those who care to get on with their own work. You should be ashamed of yourselves for such juvenile behavior. Again, my appologies to the list and list owner. No response is needed or desired. Thankyou Joe Somhorst
