I am searching for further information on my ggg grandfather. His name was Jahiel or Johiel FISK (abt 1793 NY?-18 Dec 1854 Huron Co. OH). In the 1850 Huron Co. census he gives his birthplace and that of his wife, Susan Ann WOLAVER(abt 1803-abt 1896 Denver, Denver, CO) as New York. They married 18 Oct 1826. Susan and Jahiel's children were as follows: John Lafayette (5 Nov 1827 Huron Co OH-2 Feb 1895 Howard City, Montcalm, MI) mar 24 Nov 1853 in Ottawa Co. MI to Lydia SONICK (SONICH) Alonzo W. (24 Jan 1835 Huron Co OH-10 Dec 1893 Coopersville, Ottawa, MI) mar 21 Feb 1846 Ottawa Co MI to Mary Caroline DICKEY Philetus LeRoy (26 Jul 1842 Windsor, Richland, OH-12 Apr 1915 Paonia, Delta, CO) mar 14 Oct 1865 Croton, Newaygo, MI to Elizabeth POWERS Philetus and Elizabeth were my ggrandparents. I have further information on these succeeding generations, but would like anything further on preceding ones. I don't know where in NY Jahiel was from. I know nothing more of Susan WOLAVER either.
