    1. CARLSON/JOHNSON/PEARSON
    2. Can someone lookup on the emigrant CD the following individuals? I believe they were born somewhere in Vastergotland. Katherine Johanna Carlsson Pearson b. October 15, 1820 in Sweden and d. August 15, 1915 in Rockford, Winnebago County, Illinois. Katherine must have also used the name Johanna. Katherine either came to the US in 1876 or 1881. She lived in Chariton, Lucas County, Iowa until either 1905 or 1915 went she went to stay with her son, Ossian Waldemar Carlson, in Rockford, Winnebago County, Illinois. Ossian Waldemar Carlsson (Carlson) b. August 31, 1859 in Vastergotland, Sweden and d. 1939 in Rockford, Winnebago County, Illinois. Ossian also used Waldemar as a first name. Ossian came to the US in 1876. In 1879-1881, he sailed on several merchant ships as a seaman. From 1881-1890, he was supposedly in the Navy. In 1891, he lived in Newport, Rhode Island. He married my ggrandmother, Clara Josephine Mathilda Carlson, on July 15, 1891 in Newport, Rhode Island. In 1892, he visited his relatives in Chariton, Lucas County, Iowa and then settled in Rockford, Winnebago County, Illinois. He was a member of the Svea Sonner Singing Society. Mrs. Augusta Carlsson (or Carlsdotter) Johnson was the daughter of Katherine Carlson Pearson. She lived in Chariton, Lucas County, Iowa. Carl Carlson (Carlsson) was another son of Katherine who lived in Michigan in 1915. Any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Chris
