My grandmother, Sarah AINDOW, b 1862, married William F DOHERTY, b 1852 in Knutsford, ENG and came to the USA about 1883. Her parents were Henry AINDOW, fisherman, b 1837, and Margaret. They lived at Halsalls Lane, Formby in the 1871 census. In the 1851 census, Henry AINDOW lived with his parents at End Of The Hamlet Of Raven Meals, Formby Henry's father was Henry AINDOW, fisherman, b in 1813, Great Crosby.
