Need information on the family of John CRAWFORD and Persis STOWELL CRAWFORD who had about 11 children. John Crawford was alive in 1815 when he and Persis deeded land to their son Joseph in the Afton/Bainbridge, NY area. Persis STOWELL CRAWFORD died in 1839 and is buried in Afton, NY next to children Abigail and John who died as young adults. A sister of Persis, Rebecca CRAWFORD, married Amos WILMOT and died about 1864. Where was she living at the time of death? Levi CRAWFORD of Bainbridge may have been related; also Andrew CRAWFORD that lived in Broome Co., NY. Would like to exchange information with anyone researching these same families.
