    1. LEARLS, Cork, Ireland, 1800+
    2. Has anyone come accross the surname LEARLS? I have looked at the film for Irish Marriages 1846 in my local LDS Family History Centre and found the entry for my g.g. grandparents Thomas SHILLCOCK and Mary Ann LEARLS, a widow formerly KELLEHER (Cove by Cloyne, 12th October 1846). I have not yet found a marriage for Mary Ann KELLEHER to Mr LEARLS, but as it seems an unusual name to me (I can't find an example in any of the directories or phone books that I have) I wonder if it should really be something else. Confusingly, she appears on her children's birth certificates as KHELLEHER, KHILLER, SERLE AND PERLE. I know that the last two can be easily confused when written down, but the L in the marriage register was very clear (and it is indexed as L). If anyone has any ideas over the names or interest in this family I'd love to hear from you. Thanks Sue London, England BARNES, BARR, BAVERSTOCK, GILES, JOHNSTONE, MORRIS, SHILLCOCK, TARRANT, TIMMS, Irish Interests - FLANAGAN, DALEY , KELLEHER or LEARLES/SERLE/PERLE
