Hi Everyone: Still digging, & trying to obtain the relationship between Vincent Hobbs Jr., & my GGG Grandfather Christopher Hobbs ! They were together on Court Records in the late 1700's to the early 1800's, even Witnessed John Benham's Will together, ( who married into the Hobbs family ). This is a job for Columbo or Sherlock Holmes, I'm beginning to think ! Christopher was born in Va., in 1771, ( some say it's 1776 ), but we unable to document it exactly, or who was Christopher's father ! Both Christopher, & Vincent were together in Va., Ky., Tn., & back to Va., so they would seem to have been very close ! Any help, would be greatly appreciated !!! I have alot of data on Christopher's descendants through Va.,Ky.,Tn., Ill., Ark., & Mo. I was born in Cave-In-Rock, Hardin Co., Illinois, & now reside here in Mo., & just recently found that Christopher's first born son, Jacob, was born in 1799, & is buried just South of us near Warsaw, Mo. !
