I thought i would put this out again to see if i can get some HELP. I'm at a loss right now and need someone to tell where to go with this family. This is the information i have. My question will be at the end of this story. JAMES C. SULLIVAN was born in 3-27-1836 in Tipperery County, Ireland ( possible the town of Connell) His Father was JERRY SULLIVAN and his Mother was JULIA SULLIVAN. His mother died when he was 10 years of age and he was sent to live with his AUNT CATHERINE CONNELLY nearby Connell, Ireland. At the age of 15 or so he came to the US either with the US Artillery or by ship He came to New York City and lived there until he joined the service at West Point. He enlisted in Company D. 5th U.S.Artillery. He was married in 1864 to a MARY SULLIVAN in Wash.D.C. in 1864. I know they had at least one child , named Julia. He left his family due to heath resons and went to New Orleans,La around 1866? >From here I show he remarried a KATE SHEA in INDIANOLA,Texas haveing children with her. I don't know anything on this family. Sometime later James left with another wife named MARY ANN BURNS. She was a step-daughter to Elizabeth Shea. I don't know if this is a sister or mother to Kate Shea. James went back to New Orleans with Mary Ann Burns, then they traveled to Calif, Oregon. Here in Dixie and Portland, Oregon they had two children. Margaret who died in 1882 ( about 18 months old) and May who was born 1882 >From there the family travels all over Western Montana. They have several more children, Margarutie, b-1885 She married a George Milliron Julia b-1886 in Dell, Mt she married a Harvey Corn Katherine b-1888 in Evaro Mt she married a William Hadcock Helen,b-1890 in Basin, Mt she married a Grover Kelly James b- 1892 died a birth Thos Owen b-1893 in Helena James b-1898 in Helena died before he was 12 years old Question is where can i go to get the info on Jerry and Julia Sullivan?
