Looking for information re: the family of my gg grandfather George Washington BRYANT, b. 8 Sept 1840 somewhere in Georgia. By 1850, he was in Union County, IL with his mother Nancy (b. @ 1795 South Carolina) and his siblings Joseph, Mary Ann, Lewis, Emaline, and Catherine. All children were born in Georgia. Mary Ann BRYANT, my gg grandfather's sister, married Theophilus TURNER after 1850 in Union County, IL. In 1860, she and her husband were in Williamson County, IL. After that, I don't know. George Washington BRYANT died in Bloomfield, Stoddard County, MO in 1908. He married Rebecca E. VAN WINKLE in Alexander County, IL in 1871. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
