MJM, I've some marriages between GUINN and BROYLES in Washington Co., TN, but have no data on any in Sevier Co. Concerning your Charles and John B. being born in NC, remember that prior to 1794, Tennessee was actually part of NC, so the census is correct when it indicates that they were born in NC, even though the actual physical location later became TN. You are dealing with a period of history that gets very confusing when trying to find out exactly where events took place. And, finding source documents can sometimes be very difficult for this period.
