    1. Re: SZURGOT query - info
    2. Hi Judy, Thanks for your response to my message. My father was born in Westmoreland, PA, which is near Pittsburg in 1921. His birth certificate lists his father as Mike SZURGOT from Austria/Poland and his mother as Annie MAZUSOK from Austria/ Poland. I can't seem to get anywhere with my research. I tried the census for PA for 1920, I only found one person with that name and he seems too old to be the correct person. He is also not from the correct area. I will try the 1910 census to see if this is more successful. Other names I am searching are: JOSEPH FINK POLTORAK born March 15, 1885 in Prezwork, his parents were FINK POLTORAK AND ROSY SLEWA. KATHERINE GORSKA (GORSKI) born 1887 in Wolk-Pel keinski, Jaroslow, Poland her parents were JAKUB GORSKI and MARYANNA ZELASKO. ANDREW PIKUSKI (PICKOSKY) born 1881 in Austria/Poland. AGNES RZEZRICK (ZEZNIK) born December 24, 1884 in Leeszask, Poland. I found Jaroslow on a map of Poland. But I did not find LEESZASK or PREZWORK. Has anyone heard of these towns or have an idea where they might be?

    1. FETTER INQUIRY
    2. Hi, I am looking for any information on an Isabella FETTER born 1858 in Schaefferstown, Lebanon County. She died in 1875 and I am interested in finding out what was the cause of death. I've been told that she died unwed in childbirth and that her baby died as well. But I don't think that is the truth because according to the 1880 Census Records of Lebanon County there is a Levi ECKERT age 4 (adopted) born 1875 living with Isabella's parents. It sounds to me like she was married and her baby did survive. If anyone has any information that can help me find the truth I woul appreciate it. You can email me at LKaz@aol.com Thank You, Lisa
