    2. I, too, am researching the Combs surname. Have you tried the Combs, Rootsweb site? It has More info than you can get in a week! I have Sarah Combs, m to Martin Johnson abt1797, in TN. But I know there were lots of the Virginia Combs' family that went to KY, also.
