Sorry Ron I appoligize for sending the attachment, just needed some help searching for the parents of a family member in history, see my Aunt id dying with cancer and she has never ask a thing of me in my life, except this, she wants me to find out as much about their history as possible, and i have never had any schooling on Geneaology and just trying to search as best as i can, but any help would be appreciated

    3. Hi Alma: Wilmelm might be another idea for Welcom. As to why they might name a child Welcom - I wonder if the idea that the child was/would be Welcome into the family, into the home, etc. I guess I can visualize a mother (in the early 1800's) looking at a newborn and saying "Your are welcome into this family". (My parents always told me I had a vivid imagination!!!). I'd be interested to know what you find out. I realize it isn't my family you are researching, by my curiosity is aroused. I have also had numerous catastrophes where I have lost all communications I was saving so if I have please forgive me. If not I am interested in the GILSON surname. My grandmother was a GILSON b. 1902 in Cavendish, VT. I can not find one person who is researching this name. There is no list or anything.     3. Looking for information on Margaret Jones, her siblings and her parents from PA. They came to America around 1885. Her father was Benjamin Jones. Her siblings were George, Ada (Shannon), Reese, Albert, William, John. She may also have had a brother Thomas. In the 1920s they were all living in Mercer County. In the towns of Sharpsville and Sharon. Margaret married Herbert Proctor and moved to Lake County Ohio. Sometime around 1903. When he died in 1926 she moved to Detroit with her children.
