Hello, My mother's Culpepper line has come to a block for many researchers in our family with John william b. 1772. One source places his father as also named John but no proof. John William was probably an orphan and may have grown up in the home of his uncle Joseph Culpepper. From John William down I have children and siblings to share. Thank you Tommie Reeves Smith
HEllo, my oldest proven ancestor is Thompson Reeves b. 1799 probably in Pendleton Dist. S.C. He was in Jackson Co. GA. in 1820, Newton Co. Ga. in 1830 and thereafter in Clay and Randolph co. Al until his death ca.1778.I am aware of Reeves Review Books. I believe his father will be named John but am open to all ideas. Thank you. Tommie Reeves Smith

He immigrated to USA 1842. Family tradition holds that he came by ship headed for Galveston, TX. Due to severe weather conditions, the ship landed in LA instead. He became a tutor to the children of one or more Sugar Plantation owners, as he had been well educated in Europe. Later, his employer loaned him the means to become a plantation owner. In 1847 he m Manette BLANCHARD, of Napoleonville, LA. They lived in Lafourche Parish (Co) & later in Terrebonne Parish, LA, where they owned extensive lands at one time. _____________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail.
