    3. To List Readers, Does anyone know or have you ever seen a listing for someone who had died while coming or going overseas? I have nothing to go on except that this person has just disappeared. I had heard many times that he was on board ship, died and was buried at sea. Are these things logged for inspections or whatever? Thank you for any suggestions. PJShane299@aol.com

    3. In a message dated 98-03-25 00:52:20 EST, you write: << Could your parent stock have been in MD early on?? There are 4 Rogers listed in the book of Early Settlers ROGERS; John, Nicholas, Solomon, and William. Dates from 1733 to 1750. Solomon ROGERS in Worcester Co, Other 3 in Baltimore >> ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// ////////////////////////// Of course. I have NO evidence he was in NC first. Only family talk and the fact that the other related families came to GA from NC and SC. HENRY ROGERS could have come from MARYLAND. Do you see any HENRYs among the children?? That seems to be the problem. Almost no onther HENRYs seem to show up among likely families. All the related families were Scottish or English in origin and they follow naming patterns where they usually name children after family members. USUALLY but not always. My Henry Rogers was b. in 1787, so if the MARYLAND group left there after the Revolution, they could have immigrated to either NC or Ga. Is that all the info you have on that Rogers family? Thanks for anything.... Caroline Burnett Cook

    1. Pringle/Hearns; Kingsbury/Yarns in Ontario
    2. Judi Montgomery
    3. I wonder if there is anyone researching these names that could help me clear up a mystery..... I have been looking for any reference to KINGSBURY in Ontario for some time now. My connection is Chamberlain Joseph KINGSBURY born c1804 who came to Prince Edward Co, Ont from Vermont with wife Eliza COOK and small daughter Mary Eliza born 1848 in Vermont. Other children were born in Ontario. Today in Russ Waller's "L&A Co. Loyalist Families" I found a Mary Jane KINGSBURY born 1867 d/o Chamberlain married to George PRINGLE s/o Cornelius PRINGLE b1824 and Mary Jane HEARNS, grs/o David PRINGLE, ggrs/o Joseph PRINGLE UE and Mary Springsteen of Richmond Twp, Ont. I had this family already in my computer, but the reference I have from the Northumberland Loyalist Links is George PRINGLE married Mary Jane YARNS. It is possible Mary Jane was married to a YARNS before she married George PRINGLE. What are the chances of there being two Chamberlain KINGSBURY's in Ontario in the 1860's??? This has to be a sister of my Mary Eliza. Any clues would be welcome. Judi - ------------------------------ Judi Montgomery CompuBilling compbill@adan.kingston.net - ------------------------------
