I have written to Nell to detail info on how to delete unnecessary script. Those who already know HOW to do that, do it! I just learned how 2 weeks ago from another list. That does not mean that we want to be so limited to what list we post on. :( T. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Have an Actually Better Day. Has anyone come accross the surname LEARLS? I have looked at the film for Irish Marriages 1846 in my local LDS Family History Centre and found the entry for my g.g. grandparents Thomas SHILLCOCK and Mary Ann LEARLS, a widow formerly KELLEHER (Cove by Cloyne, 12th October 1846). I have not yet found a marriage for Mary Ann KELLEHER to Mr LEARLS, but as it seems an unusual name to me (I can't find an example in any of the directories or phone books that I have) I wonder if it should really be something else. Confusingly, she appears on her children's birth certificates as KHELLEHER, KHILLER, SERLE AND PERLE. I know that the last two can be easily confused when written down, but the L in the marriage register was very clear (and it is indexed as L). If anyone has any ideas over the names or interest in this family I'd love to hear from you. Thanks Sue London, England BARNES, BARR, BAVERSTOCK, GILES, JOHNSTONE, MORRIS, SHILLCOCK, TARRANT, TIMMS, Irish Interests - FLANAGAN, DALEY , KELLEHER or LEARLES/SERLE/PERLE
Doug, Unless you have run a list, and I suspect you haven't, your remarks are less than appropriate. The list owner's work is multiplied many times by people too stupid to save instructions on unsubscribing. Since the lists are a free service to us users, I would either sign off or offer to help the list owner if I was unhappy. It only takes a second to delete the message, the title of which is very clear. Hope you think this through.
