You can find thru Cyndi's List. You may be better writing to either the Mayor's office, or more likely the appropriate county administrator. If there was more than one "Stony" back then, youi may have to check with all of them. There msy a place name change, also. Do you have any clue as to what part of NY State? Hope this helps. Charles
Hello, Sorry, I lost the email address of the person wanting the Eugene Cemetery book, so I'm posting this to the list. I found these listings on two different lists of cemeteries, and some overlap. The specific cemetery wasn't listed, but that doesn't mean its not there, especially if its very old. It may only mean there may not be a sexton at the cemetery to take calls. One of these may help you locate the person (sexton) or funeral home responsible for up-keep and or burial. Mount Calvary Cemetery 300 Mary Ln, Eugene, OR 97405-2713 Phone: (541)686-8722 2.30 mi. Hi Nell. To delete part of a message, first highlight the text. This is done by putting the mouse pointer at the beginning of the text you want to select, then, while holding down the left mouse button, drag the pointer to the end of the text. When you release the button, the text will be "highlighted" in color. Then hit the Delete key on your keyboard. You also use this same technique to copy, paste, or cut. Once the text is highlighted, hold down the Ctrl key and hit the "C" key to copy the text to the Windows clipboard. To put the text somewhere else in a message, or in a different message, place the cursor where you want the text, hold down the Ctrl key and hit "V". The text that was on the clipboard will now appear where you wanted it. Holding down the Ctrl key and hitting "X" will both delete the highlighted text and copy it to the clipboard. If you want to highlight an entire message, hold down the Ctrl key and hit "A". This gets headers and all. To highlight all the body of a message, put the cursor at the beginning of the body text, hold down the Ctrl and Shift keys at the same time and hit the "End" key. To highlight just one line, put the cursor at the beginning of the line, hold down the Shift key and hit "End". Hope this helps, SgtGeorge Listowner At 10:27 PM 9/2/98 -0500, Nell Thomason wrote: >I do not know how to delete part of the message. I am one of the >messer-upers and I am sorry. nell

Well, Doug, many have already unsubscribed because they are tired of downloading email with no subject lines, with uninformative subject lines, email containing entire copies of Digests, etc., all because some users don't read the rules and don't know how to properly use the List. If a few unsubscribe because of my postings, those few will be more than made up for by the others who will stay on the List. BTW, I see you didn't read the Note!!!!! You tried to unsubscribe by replying to an original message. Both the Welcome Message AND my recent notes tell you that you CAN'T do that. So much for my efforts at educating the public! Dear Sgt. George and subscribers, First of all George, after reading all this and the noting the aggravation of telling people what to do for a proper post and having it all ignored or misunderstood, I think you deserve a hearty pat on the back. Being a listowner must be a really tough job! And I think it's supposed to be a fun hobby and interesting pastime here. C'mon everybody, let's try to do this in an organized manner and really try to follow the guidelines, and cheerfully too! As for newcomers like myself, sometimes we goof and unintentionally get things scrambled. Please try to be a little patient. I, for one, didn't get my last Subject line in the proper format. Newbies, read the instructions and you will know how to post your submissions in such a way that people will read them. The subject line is extremely important, as is deleting unnecessary parts of original messages when replying. WTG, Sgt. George! Keep trying, some of us are bound to catch on to the game sooner or later! Sincerely, Michael Fisk/Colorado
If she is a space alien, then she must be hanging out with my Alamander Grant Watkins. Frustrating isn't it? Good luck, Betty
