Would appreciate the names of any Generals PUTMAN you might know of and any leads to the identities of these families. Have some descendants I am willing to share. 3. Hello Deborah..........I recently received some information on my Isaac PAINTER. I couldn't put him into OH until I found the 1900 census. He now has another wife, one born in OH, as were her parents. The census was very hard to read, her name looks like Nicey ?? b 10/1855 in OH. He had seven more children with her beginning 1884 in Montgomery County MO. Let me know if you think he might be the one your looking for. I have lots to share and compare if he is. He was from Denmark, still spoke with a strong accent, and had come out there in the 1920's. A very colourful and kind man, he had been married twice and twice widowed with no children.
