They never get laptops. Laptops are real hard to come by. People don't seem to give them up. Sometimes they can be bought real cheap, though. A friend of mine bought one for $125 at a computer show but gave it back because the floppy drive wasn't working. 1. [SURNAME-QUERY] Lastname "Kitz".
    2. John W. Kitz
    3. Hi, Some time ago I've started to make an inventory of anybody with the last name "Kitz" born since approx. 1800 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, Europe. While doing so I stumbled upon entries in records indicative of emigration (both temporary and permanent) of individuals with the last name "Kitz" from The Netherlands to the US in particular, but also to countries like Surinam and Indonesia. Through the resources provided by rootsweb I've already been able to exchange information with some folks in the US regarding individuals with this last name, who at some point reportedly resided in e.g. Iowa, New Jersey and Wisconsin. As I was looking through some old posts on several rootsweb mailinglists I noticed that there has been some activity in the past regarding this last name. Should you still be or have recently started doing similar work on this last name or have come across records pertaining to this last name while doing your own research with regards to another last name I'd appreciate it if you'd pass on any information with regards to the last name "Kitz" that might be useful to me. Thanks in advance and regards, Jk.
