DANECKE (Low German) Diminutive of DEHNHARDT, DAHNHARD(T), DEHNERT, DAHNERT, or THIENERT, cognates of the German "DEINHARD", from the Germanic personal name composed of the elements "degen" (warrior, hero) + "hard" (hardy, brave, strong). Don't know if these names are related to the one you give.
