Here's a real shocker. After writing my previous msg. on Baron Kendal, I receved a large packet in the mail. It is a draft of a book which I promised to proof for the writer. He states: "In addition to these lands (in Lancashire) King William awarded lands at Kendal in Cumbria and made Ivo the Baron Kendal." Coincidence plays a great part in genealogy.
