Found nothing on Debanfer. Sicar is found in western Europe including Spain, France and Italy. The origin has been said to be from "cigarro" for cigarette. This sounds like speculation as tobacco didn't get to Spain until the 1500's by which time most Spaniards had had surnames for some time. Perhaps another google search is in order. I go here: www.google.com and enter the name. Then I click on any promising site. You can also enter "sicar meaning origin" and narrow down your choices. Let's hope you have better luck than I did.
