Based on my experience with Ancestry (member since 1999), there's a big chance it's with Ancestry. While they do offer tons of data, I have found many mistakes. I will mark it up to human error, and not give them a bad name. I have gleaned lots of valuable data on their site, and from their databases. Transcriptionists often do make mistakes. The massive amount of data they have put online leaves much room for human error. I have even made them myself at times. It's something we, as genealogists, expect to see everywhere. All this looking has made me realize how much I have overlooked at their site. I never knew my Hardy Sojourner was in Lincoln county, KY! He is brother to my Mary Katherine. Thanks for the data you sent, Ruby. While Ancestry only lists the heads of households, you have listed a child, so this one would not show up on Ancestry. Dinner calls. Have a good evening all!
