BTW, I copied this info out of EVERTON'S GENEALOGICAL HELPER, Jan-Feb 1987 issue (and wrote to the submitter but never received a reply): Andrew PARKS m. 1809 Grayson Co., VA, to Susanna ?? Parks children: Pilgrim Isaac Washington Jackson Andrew Aimy White Keziah West Elizabeth SURGENER Sarah Jones Mary Anderson Looks like a possibility the names came from a will? I queried the Parks mail list (wondering if Susanna might have been a Pope, Surgener, Sykes, etc., considering their first born son's name). I received a piece of database with the info that Susanna was possibly a COX. The database also had Elizabeth's married name as Surgeon which could be a possible error during input by someone not familiar with the Surgener name. Do you Cox descendants have any idea about Susanna and/or Elizabeth Parks Surgener? Ruby
