Good day, List Members! I would like to introduce myself to you. I took over managing this list today, and the GenConnect boards a few days ago. My name is Tina Hall. I live in the beautiful state of Washington, and am a direct descendant of John and Sarah Sojourner of MS. They are an allied family of the Descendants of the Jersey Settlers who came from NJ to Adams county, MS in the late 1700's. John Sojourner is the son of Mrs. LaJournier of France (A French Huguenot), who landed in Charleston, SC between 1740 and 1750 with 4 children in tow. Nothing is known about her husband. They moved west with the Swayze's and King's of NJ, and ended up in MS. I descend through John and Sarah's daughter Mary Katherine Sojourner who married Reuben Cassels in MS.
