The following came from Darryl Pearce. It sounds like a possibility - everything is when it comes to the Surgener/Sojourner name! I don't know if it is in our gen. library but I will try to stop by today and see (if they're open). Does anybody else have access to this book? I found all the Surgener names in my research by starting at the top of the "S's" in the index and going all the way down to the end of the S's since I never knew how it was spelled. I even check "D" and "L" because you never know how someone will interpret the penmanship of the first letter. Thanks for the tip, Darryl!!! Might be a good book to check to see if the Name is mentioned.!! "The Bristol Registers to Servents to Foreign Plantations 1654-1689", by Peter Wilson Coldham ---------- COPY ---------
