Parents James SURGEONER b East Greenock, Renfrew, Scotland c 1849 and Mary Ann ALEXANDER b East Greenock, Renfrew, Scotland c 1853 James Alexander married Ann Spence [ b Carmegrim Ireland 20th June 1876. Her parents Thomas SPENCE and Margaret MULLIN ] on 19th May 1889 in Allegheny PA. U.S.A. think this date is wrong, might be 1899, 14 is a little early to get married. They had three sons :- James Thomas 17th Aug 1900 Allegheny PA d 18th Oct 1974 Robert 1902 Allegheny d 1906 George 9th Oct 1913 Lilyfield N.S.W. Australia d 1985 l cannot find hide nor hair of them, not their shipping record to go to america nor anything on them going to Australia.
