I have a friend looking for Anne Lawson just wondering if she was of any relation to Mary Lawson-Lipard Sumpter? This is what she has on her. I hope we can help this person out. The only hard info I have on Anna LAWSON is from my father's (Henry K. THOMPSON) application for a social security number in which he listed her as his mother. I question the spelling of her last name since she supposedly came to America as a child with her parents (seems like it should be LAWSEN). She married Fred (Frederick) Patrick THOMPSON - date and place unknown. To this union was born Henry K (1890), Grace Marie 1891, and Gladys (1894) all in Omaha, Nebraska. Anna died sometime after July, 1894 and before 1898. I find the family in Kansas City, Kansas in 1900 census with stepmother Percilla (Priscilla?) . DdHober@aol.com
