Leitha Sumpter remarried to a Williams and lived in Sunnyside CA in the 1940's. This is the person my Mother remembers taking care of in CA. Aprox. 6 weeks after my parents arrived to take care of them leitha fell and broke her hip and was placed in a nursing home. Her second husband (first name unknow) surname Williams is assumed to also be placed in a nursing home. I asked my mother a lot of questions about this matter. What she had to say was that Letha's son who lived in the area asked them to come from OK to help take care of them she does not know this persons name only that it was her son. My mother does not remember his name or if he had any kids in the area or not. This is what I know of Leitha since I do have cousins in CA I will ask them for there help to locate the burial place of Letha. My mother stated that after Leitha was put into nursing home that they never went back to see her. I would like to know if anyone out there knows any more of Leitha if not I would like to persue this matter with great interest. Thank you DdHober
