In 1835, the heirs of Henry Sumpter were listed on an act of Congress for the relief of said heirs. The act was read for the third time and passed. By 1850, a George Sumpter b 1825 is working in a Bailey home in Posey Co, IN. A James Sumpter b 1831 is working in an Overton Home. A Thomas Sumpter b 1829 and a Mahala Sumpter b 1798 NC are living in Macon Co, Missouri. Is this the Henry who married down on the Wabash as mentioned in the notebook written in longhand by Alexander Sumpter, Jr., of Missouri and Oregon?
