I have a Patton Deed for william Sumter in Burke Co. Issued Nov 9 1782 for 400 acres of land. Brumbly creek runs through the middle of it. Grant #871 Entry No. 772 Book no. 57 and Page No. 46. The deed is hard to read, not a very good copy.
