Via snail mail today from Barbara Jones, I received subject information and would like to personally thank her. These seven pages, referencing the "History of Albemarle County, Virginia" and the "Draper Manuscript", has some exciting information and a clue possibly linking Henry Sumpter (married to Agnes Dillon) as an uncle to General Thomas Sumter.
