Hi all -- I am looking for more on my Sumpter line from VA. I have an Agnes SUMPTER, born ca 1775 to George Sumpter and Elizabeth Gross (Sumpter). Agnes was married to Charles Greer of Henry and Franklin Counties, Virginia, in 1793. I believe George would have fought in the Revolutionary War?? If this line seems even a little bit familiar, PLEASE email me with ANYTHING!! I am stumped and would very much appreciate ANY leads. This line of Sumpters might have been in NC or PA as well.
