Hi I shall send what data I have on Sarah Sumpter Jones to you with a copy to the Sumpter rootsweb. Perhaps there are others out there who can help with Sarah's dates. According to very informative papers I received from Curtis Sumpter of Floyd, VA, Sarah was the daughter of George and Elizabeth Gross Sumpter of Charlotte Co, VA and later of Franklin Co, VA. Sarah married John Jones 5 July 1790 in Franklin Co. You stated that you had a list of children. Does this list agree with yours? Sally, Frankey, Elizabeth, Lucy, Abigail, Sinthea, Ally, Ann, Solomon, George, John. My list comes from the LDS microfiche and Lora Weatherman's book states that John and Sarah Jones lived in Randolph Co, IN, and that she died there in 1847. One note that I do have on my card is that daughter Ann was born 4 Nov 1807 and that she married James Stapleton Lewis.
