Barbara, I am just trying to answer in order you sent. This sumpter and sumter-thing. I sent it out on roots web and this morning got a question if they were indian lineage? I said I don't think so, but grandma gullett said that the nora buckhardus (HARGIS) thing ---she thought was Indian. So, do you have any documentation that the native american line comes into the sumpter/sumter familys through the Hargis line?
