Jim I have been all over all counties and never found a James Gerald. It is very possible that James Gerald was an agent who lived in England and worked for others in the colonies. No other trace of George Sumpter either until the one supposedly married to Elizabeth Gross. I spent about half a year trying to track down either one. Jim Landrum
