Bev. I only know what Jim Young sent me that a george washington sumpter was father of a daughter, Susan Elizabeth Sumter and Georgann Duncan in Okla. And, a George washington sumpter was father of my Erbin Sumpter married to Eliza Hargis in MO. (the daughter of a george washington sumpter marries the g g grandson of a george washington sumpter.) this is what is confusing me. I am in the area of getting new names of new generations and I do not have any documentation and trying to figgure out if the facts are true. If you have a census or anything--to help me please just let me know what year or where and I will look it up. If there is anything I can do to help you--please let me know.
