    1. [SUITE] Suite-- Question abt. church records in St. Mary's Co. MD
    2. I think my SUITE family may have possibly been Catholic and not Episcopal as previously believed. Perhaps that is why I could find no marriage or baptismal records. Do Catholic records still exist from the late 1700's to mid 1800's for this church? I have this part of a record in my notes, but the part with the source is missing and it does mention a priest & seems like it had been part of an old email I had saved & Samuel was my ancestor: RE: St. Mary's Co. 3. 3. Bonnie, it would be worth a shot to look in the Catholic church records. My Nathaniel Suit in Ohio wasn't Catholic although some of the later generations of the family did convert. My Gr grandmother Daisy Rogers(granddaughter of Martha Ann Suit Rogers) was raised Methodist but did raise my Grandma and my dad Catholic.
