    2. Warren County Wills 1730-1931 Mary SUIT 1856 Warren County, North Carolina In the name of God Amen. I Mary SUIT being of Sound mind and disposing memory do make this my last will & Testament in maner and following to wit. I give and bequeath to my Too suns my land to be Equally divided. William H. SUIT & Robert H. SUIT all of the county of Warren, at the death of William H. SUIT all the property given to him by me is to go to the heirs of of Harriet VALLANDINGHAM’s body. I give and bequeath to my son Robert H. SUIT all of my Household and Kitchen furniture consisting of too beds(,) one beauro(,) one looking glass(,) one press (?)(,) & chairs(,) fire Irons(,) candle sticks(,) too tables(,) one loom(,) & hors cart(,) one cow & calf(,) one saw(,) & too shots(,) all of which is at his death to go to the heirs of Harriet VALLANDINGHAM’s body. I want it understood that I will have nothing to do with any Lawsuit that may be brought in my name which have this 20 day of September 1855 bin assigned by my hand and seal. Test: William A.     3. Thank you so much for Mary's will. I see she got a "little testy" at the end of her will. For some reason she must have known that there was going to be disagreement with how she divided her assets. Must have been some family problems--not getting along. William must have been older; then Robert. The problem may have been with Harriet because she was to receive property and assets only after Robert passed.     2. It seems Harriet was already deceased when Mary SUIT wrote her will because it does not leave stuff to Harriet-- it leaves stuff to heirs of Harriet Vallandingham's body! Should be Vanlandingham but the name was spelled as Vallandingham. When Polley Cauthon's father died, her guardian was a Vanlandingham!
