Hi Pat There may be no connection whatsoever but thought I would ask anyway :-) My 5th great grandfather was a Denny GARDINER b1719 Stoke Ash son of Edmond & Anne GARDINER He in turn was a son of another Edmund GARDINER & Dorothy BUTTS? Again of Stoke Ash Denny GARDINER was a Surgeon & Apothecary in Woolpit and died 1803 I have often wondered where the Denny came from, it suggests a link to a DENNY at some point in time although may have no connection bar a family friend or whatever But thought I would ask in case you may have a DENNY - GARDINER connection somewhere along the line Nivard Ovington in Cornwall (UK) On 15/10/2012 22:53, Pat Cook wrote: > My name is Pat, I live in Lincolnshire and have just joined the > Suffolk List. > > I am researching the surname DENNY in Suffolk. > > Alfred Edmund Denny born 1886 Great Bealings s/o John DENNY and Jane > KING, has the dubious reputation of being a bigamist.
