Linda, We have a letter-head of Botwood and Egerton motor engineers of Carr Street in Ipswich dated June 12th 1906. Also a photograph of the workshops in Woodbridge Road from around 1905, originally built for the manufacture of carriages, the works were readily adapted to the motor car works. Willliam and Samuel Botwood inherited the coach-building business when their father died in 1896 - right at the beginning of the motor car era.
