Hello everyone I'm new to this particular list, and just wondered whether anyone was also researching the UNDERWOOD, HALLS and possibly NORMAN families. I have CHRISTOPHER UNDERWOOD, bpt. 31 Jul 1774, Barrow, Suffolk, marrying ABIGAIL HALLS b.c.1771 of Denham, Suffolk, in 1792, Denham. Their daughter SARAH UNDERWOOD married ROBERT NORMAN, about whom I know absolutely nothing but presume he was also Suffolk-born. SARAH and ROBERT NORMAN settled in north London/Essex border, where they raised their family. The UNDERWOODs were mostly butchers, whereas the HALL(S) appear to have been farmers, but ABIGAIL's line were all baptised at Denham Hall - a former castle, no longer in existence, according to google. Perhaps their farms were on Denham Hall's estate. I would love to hear from anyone with names in common. Best wishes Frances Bedford
